The National Alternative Protein Innovation Centre (NAPIC) is the UK's national innovation centre accelerating the development and adoption of sustainable alternative proteins. Funded by BBSRC, Innovate UK, and national and international partners, NAPIC brings together academia, industry, regulators and the third sector to drive innovation across the alternative protein ecosystem. Through collaborative research, skills development, commercialisation support and stakeholder engagement, NAPIC is helping build a resilient, sustainable and globally competitive UK food system.
