The Alternative Proteins Association (APA) is the representative body of the UK’s alternative proteins sector, the largest association of its kind in Europe. It promotes the role and value of alternative proteins within the UK and supports the development of the wider ecosystem, enabling businesses to establish, expand, and contribute to innovation in food systems. The APA regularly galvanises members and important stakeholders to address key industry challenges and undertake strategic foresight activities across the board – including policy, retail engagement, investment, and labelling.
