Priscila Chaves Martínez
Priscila Chaves leads Cargill Food’s innovation strategy, where she drives responsible R&D, AI adoption, and ecosystem collaboration across the global food system.
With over 18 years of experience spanning corporate, startup, and public-sector roles, her work has reached all seven continents. She has held leadership positions at IBM across LATAM and APAC, and has advised governments and multilateral organizations in the Global South on AI governance, digital trust, and the societal impact of emerging technologies. Priscila has co-authored national AI strategies and led cross-sector innovation initiatives worldwide, including her recent research during an Antarctic expedition focused on the impact of global warming on sea-level rise.
She holds a Master’s in AI Ethics & Society from the University of Cambridge, a Technology MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, and is an AI Connect Fellow with the Atlantic Council.
