Dr. Mahmoud Masri holds a degree in Applied Chemistry from Damascus University and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Formerly Group Leader for Process Development and Industrial Validation at TUM, he co-founded GST GmbH to commercialize sustainable, cost-effective microbial oil production technologies.
