Christine R Gould is an award-winning innovation leader, author, and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience leading creative and collaborative change throughout the agriculture, food and climate tech sectors.
She is the Founder and CEO of GIGAfutures, a specialized strategy and execution firm that unlocks billion-dollar opportunities and better futures for all through food systems transformation. Serving as a global innovation and investment platform, GIGA builds pathways for breakthrough solutions to scale - matching the world’s most promising agrifood and climate technologies with the capital, partnerships, and market demand needed to deliver real-world impact and outsized returns.
Previously, Christine founded Thought For Food® (TFF), the world’s leading next-gen innovation community in food and agriculture, with presence in 180+ countries. Under her leadership, TFF accelerated 100+ science- and tech-based startups that went on to raise more than $300 million and forge partnerships with industry players.
Christine has two decades of experience at the intersection of innovation, policy, and corporate strategy. At Syngenta, she created the industry’s first open-licensing platform for patented vegetable traits, setting a new precedent for IP-sharing in plant breeding. She has led open innovation initiatives for Fortune 500 companies including Google, Danone, DSM, Cargill, DHL, DSM, and co-led the Food Systems Game Changers Lab with The Rockefeller Foundation, IDEO, EAT Foundation, and others.
